From 2011 to 2013, Elaine Carney provided general strategy and fundraising consulting services, fundraising training and strategic support to the Alliance board, volunteers and staff. We worked collaboratively with Alliance leadership to meet short-term fundraising needs and assist in developing long-term fundraising goals. Ms. Carney conducted a planning study to support a $5.5 million comprehensive campaign. The Alliance has since explored a variety of capital funding opportunities, including a Program Related Investment (PRI), which they recently utilized to fund the deep green retrofit of the Alliance Center. The newly renovated Alliance Center is now open and vibrantly functioning as a home to many regional conservation and social justice organizations.
