The Nature Conservancy mission is simple: to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends.
In partnership with The Compass Group, Elaine Carney conducted a Planning Study to support a $40 million Conservation Campaign to support a five-year strategic plan in 2008. We assisted the TNC Staff and Board Leadership in the development of the Conservation Campaign Plan, Campaign Timeline, and Conservation Campaign committee structure. We provided long-term volunteer training and strategic support to the Campaign Committee. At the conclusion of the contract In October 2011, the Wyoming Chapter invited Ms. Carney to serve as a volunteer member of the Conservation Campaign Committee. They achieved $41.7 million in July 2014 and Elaine served as the only non-Trustee member on the Wyoming Chapter of TNC Development Committee until April 2015.
